As part of its ongoing partnership with Art Basel, Enea Landscape Architecture has transformed the Rundhof of Hall 2 into a captivating natural installation that encourages visitors to reflect on their relationship with nature. This year’s installation, Flora Renaissance, draws inspiration from the traditional Swiss Orchard Meadows – once a defining feature of the Swiss plateau – and addresses challenges related to climate change and food production. By blending ancient and modern fruit tree varieties with native and foreign trees, vegetables, and perennials, Enea reimagines these meadows as interconnected ecosystems that support biodiversity, community nourishment, and climate resilience, offering a dynamic space for dialogue on sustainability within the art fair.
