This unprecedented complex located along the Liang Ma River is comprised of two modern office towers, an outdoor amphitheater, an exclusive Bulgari Hotel, a contemporary art museum designed by Tadao Ando and accompanying outdoor spaces and gardens. The soft lines of the adjacent river influenced the landscape’s geometry. Through the abstract interpretation of concepts from the traditional Chinese gardens and a clear strategy for the spatial articulation for each program area, a succession of scenes were developed that unfold, creating a narrative that takes the visitors through a visual and emotional experience. New magnificent native pine trees become living sculptures, tying the entire complex together.
