A VISION BECOMES REALITY
As the company grew, Enea moved its headquarters in 2008 to a more prominent site in Rapperswil-Jona, where everything is under one roof: a showroom, a nursery and a carpentry workshop. The company leased the 75,000 m2 plot from the neighboring nuns of the Mariazell monastery, who share Enzo Enea’s vision of protecting
and appreciating nature.
Since 2010, the park has also been home to the world’s only open-air museum of trees, the heart of Enea.
His commitment to saving old trees is evident in the Tree Museum’s 50 trees, some of which are several hundred years old. One of them was growing in front of the Zurich Kongresshaus when Brahms inaugurated it.
